Hello all,
I recently purchased a pair of 40Gb Infiniband QDR cards, I was wondering if Houdini would need to be configured in a different manner in order to utilize these cards. My end goal is to hopefully see a performance boost in distributed simulation as I think my current gigabit network may be the culprit for why my local sims on a single machine are completing in a fraction of the time that a distributed one takes. I can of course provide more information as I'm sure I haven't provided enough to give a solid answer just yet.
Thanks!
Ryan

Thanks jordibares, from glancing at it that's exactly what I was looking for. I'm trying to pass houdini sim information into Massive.

So the end goal of what I'm wanting to do is have a text document that contains the position and rotation values of specific pieces of geometry. So for example if I were to have a few barrels that are being interacted with in a rbd sim, they would return for me the position and rotation for all of the objects in the following format:
Barrel1
Barrel2
Barrel3
Being a relatively new user to Houdini, I'm not quite sure where to begin with this.
